Bob ran an online community for Realtime Publishers in the early days of the Windows Vista release. This involved several blog posts per week as well as a recorded podcast and answering questions.

Bob authored a couple of the field team guides in Microsoft's Business Desktop Deployment (BDD) documentation; specifically the guides for "core" applications (Office) and "supplemental" applications (everything else).

The Start to Finish Guide to Scripting with KiXtart was first released as an eBook by NetImpress in 2003. Then in 2005, it was released by Mann Publishing in paperback format with select appendixes available online.

Bob wrote a paper entitled, MSI Testing for Wise (makers of Package Studio) in October of 2005.

Bob held a session with Nelson Ruest at the 2005 Microsoft Management Summit entitled, Real-World Software Packaging.

Bob presented at the 2007 KACE User Konference.

This white paper entitled, Network Diagnostics Technologies in Windows Vista was written for Microsoft to help describe the capabilities of the feature to identify and resolve network-related issues using integrated diagnostic and repair capabilities. Published: January 2007.

Bob was the technical editor for the Definitive Guide to Windows Installer Technology for Administrators

Bob held a breakout session at the 2008 Packaging Event in Amsterdam.
